Our Story is Simple.
It started with a package of cookies.
Our story is simple. It started when we read the back label of a popular package of cookies. A few of the ingredients were a total mystery. After researching those initial items –Sodium Citrate, Titanium Dioxide, Thiamine Mononitrate – it became a habit to read the food labels. Researching the ingredients quickly turned into a hobby. Now we’re dedicated to sharing what we learn with you. We built Nutrition & Ingredients to do just that.
Nutrition Facts
We publish and maintain the most comprehensive database of calories, nutrition facts, allergens, and ingredients contained in popular and common food items consumed in American households.
Menu Prices
Our fast food restaurant menu prices help you avoid surprises when you go out to eat. After all, if we’re trying to help readers learn more about the foods they eat, that should include the cost of food.
Informative
We aim to be your one stop source for menu prices, nutrition facts, and ingredients related to popular fast food menu items and packaged foods.
Credible & Accurate
We review and update our site often. Please contact us if you find any errors or omissions. We will do our best to correct it as quickly as possible.
Achievements
We are a young company and although we have accomplished a lot in a short time, we still have a long list of items to complete. Come back often, we hope to have plenty of things to share with you soon!

More About Us
Nutrition & Ingredients is an independent, privately-owned organization with no affiliation to any restaurant, food manufacturer, or beverage producer listed on this website. We exist solely as a helpful resource for our readers.
We source information from restaurants, grocery stores, and packaged foods. Our team is comprised of parents, professionals, and curious individuals. We believe we have similar interests as our readers. At the highest level that means we are interested to know more about our nation’s food supply and what’s in the food we eat.
We’re not health professionals and do not provide health or wellness advice. Always consult your physician about your health, wellness, and dietary needs.
Your One Stop Source
Then we dig a bit deeper and turn to reliable resources, including reports by the U.S. FDA, the Department of Health and Human Resources, and National Library of Medicine, published articles by reliable sources such as Healthline, Mayo Clinic, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, among many other online and offline resources. We consolidate and publish what we learn so you have a one stop source of the nutritional information in popular foods.
Throughout this site, we call out select nutrients in food (sodium, fat, sugars, etc.), publish easy-to-read charts, lists, and tables. Use that information to know more about what’s in the food you eat. Always discuss your dietary and healthcare needs with your physician. Calorie needs and nutrients vary by individual. Never rely on what you read herein as healthcare advice. Rather, we exist as a media company to help you find information.
Who here hasn’t laughed when trying to pronounce some of the ingredients (e.g., Propylene Glycol Monostearate) in processed foods? Maybe you like knowing that Tocopherols are a form of Vitamin E. You don’t need to be a nutritionist to learn, discover useful information, and share that knowledge.
So that’s what we’re doing at Nutrition & Ingredients. We’re gathering, consolidating, and sharing information to make it easier for you. We research the data ourselves and never rely on AI to write or edit our articles. And we always do it with an aim to help our readers.
We look forward to hearing from you. You can contact us directly.
