Despite all the funky, fruity sounding flavors, Alani Nu energy drinks contain 0% juice. Certain beverage flavors, however, do contain fruit juice and/or vegetable juice as a coloring additive.

Drink Ingredients Descriptions

  • Calcium D Pantothenate: Chemical form of vitamin B-5
  • Citric Acid: Commonly derived from citrus fruits and used as an additive in food products to enhance flavors and preserve ingredients.
  • Erythritol: Sugar alcohol derived through a fermentation process of corn and used as a sugar substitute in low-calorie drinks and processed foods.
  • Glucuronolactone: A sugar naturally produced in the body. It may be obtained from plants or nitric acid and is reported to have a similar effect on the body as caffeine.
  • Guarana Seed Extract: An extract derived from the roasted seeds of the guarana (Paullinia Cupana), a climbing plant native to the Amazon Basin.
  • L-Carnitine Tartrate is a form of carnitine, an amino acid that plays a role in generating energy by interacting with fatty acids. L-carnitine supplements may benefit muscle regeneration.
  • Niacinamide: Form of vitamin B3
  • Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: Synthetic water-soluble B vitamin
  • Sucralose: Artificial sweetener used as a sugar substitute.
  • Taurine: A sulfur-containing amino acid. Studies have shown that the body naturally produces enough Taurine. Taurine additives are commonly derived from animal proteins.
