Burger King Breakfast Prices in All 50 U.S. States
Many consumers enjoy the convenience of fast food delivery while other families avoid the added fees by taking a quick trip through the drive thru window. Did you know you may be able to save even more if you drive a few hundred miles to the next state?
We did our research and found that Burger King breakfast prices may vary (quite significantly in some cases) from state to state. We chose three menu items – a breakfast croissant sandwich, side dish, and drink – and recorded the price at 50 different Burger King locations.

Price Comparison by State
We recorded the prices for three breakfast menu items at Burger King locations across the nation. Here are the average prices for each of the food items.
Average Prices
Based on 50 different Burger King locations (one in each U.S. state), the average price for each food item is as follows:
Low to High Price Range
The results of this study found that prices for the same menu item at the same fast food restaurant franchise do vary based on location.
The lowest price for a bacon, egg and cheese croissant sandwich was $3.79. By comparison, the same item purchased in a different state can cost as much as 76% more. Specifically, the highest price for the same breakfast sandwich is $6.69.
Here is a summary of the low to high price ranges across all 50 U.S. states, by menu item:
That’s a pretty significant price range for a single menu item. If you buy the medium iced coffee in Hawaii, it’ll cost you 3x more than if you buy the same drink in Missouri.
That said, if you live in Charleston, West Virginia, you can enjoy an order of hash browns at a 50% discount compared to the price paid by customers in the capital city of South Carolina.
Let’s take a look at which U.S. states have the lowest prices and the highest prices at Burger King.
These States Have the Lowest Burger King Prices
The states with the lowest prices include Delaware, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissan’wich
Burger Kings in four of those states offer the breakfast sandwich for $3.79, the lowest price across all 50 states. Those locations were found in Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and West Virginia.
Hash Browns and Iced Coffee
Of all 50 Burger Kings that we researched, that same restaurant in West Virginia also offers the lowest price for a large order of hash browns. At $1.99, it’s about 28% below the average price and half the highest price of $3.99.
Head east to Delaware and you can get a medium iced coffee for only a buck. Likewise, the BK in Jefferson City, Missouri matches the $1.00 price. That’s significantly lower than what you will pay ($3.99) for the same cold drink if you step up to the counter in Honolulu.
These States Have the Highest Burger King Prices
By contrast, the states with the highest prices for the breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and side dish include Hawaii, Nevada, and South Carolina.
Prices in Hawaii Exceed All Other States
Hawaii in particular has the highest prices across the board. The cost of a bacon, egg & cheese croissan’wich will set you back $6.69. That’s 49% higher than the average of $4.49 across all states.
In fact, the higher prices in Hawaii were not limited to breakfast items. When we checked the Whopper, hamburger and chicken sandwich, the Burger King location in Honolulu again had the highest prices compared to the 49 other states.

Research Method
To avoid escalating prices due service charges or other fees, no third-party data from marketplaces, or delivery services such as Uber Eats or Door Dash, was used. We did not rely on prices from other third-party publishers.
Price data was sourced directly from Burger King. One Burger King restaurant in each U.S. state was selected at random.
Furthermore, to ensure we present comparable prices without fluctuation due to seasonal changes, supply chain issues, holidays, or other events, we checked the prices across all U.S. states within the same morning. The prices were fact checked and confirmed the following day.
