Burgers

The following table lists the allergens in Jack in the Box Smashed Jack, Jumbo Jack, and other hamburgers and cheeseburgers.

Chicken & Fish

With the exception of Jack in the Box Crispy Chicken Strips, all chicken and fish options listed below contain soy and wheat. The chicken sandwiches also contain egg and milk.

Side Dishes

The following table lists food allergens in curly fries, tacos, and other snacks and side dishes available from Jack in the Box restaurant.

Allergens reflect standard recipes for the side dish only and exclude any dipping sauce. Menu items contain the same allergens, regardless of size ordered. For example, wheat is present in small, medium, and large orders of seasoned curly fries.

An order of Halfsies includes a container of seasoned curly fries and salty French fries.

All old-fashioned shakes and desserts, including churros, cake, and shakes, contain milk.

Jack in the Box shakes are available in two sizes: 16 ounce and 24 ounce. Allergens are the same for either size.

Sauces

Here is the list of allergens in sandwich sauces, chicken nugget dipping sauces, and other toppings, including grilled onions and mayonnaise.

Secret Sauce is a tomato-based dipping sauce that contains soybean oil, high fructose corn syrup, egg yolks, dehydrated onions, seasonings, A1 Steak Sauce, Tabasco pepper sauce, and Worcestershire sauce, among other ingredients.

Jack in the Box restaurants are not certified gluten-free environments. While ingredients used for the list of food products below may not include sources of gluten, there is no guarantee of food safety.

Here is a list of select foods and drinks that are made without any of the nine major food allergens.

It’s also important to know that fast food menu items are often prepared in common areas and cooked using shared equipment and kitchen tools. Fried foods, for example, are typically cooked in a fryer that contains oil also used for other products that contain milk, wheat, fish, or another allergen.

In addition, restaurant suppliers may prepare foods in large facilities where soy, eggs, wheat, and other allergens and products are processed.

As such, even foods made without a declared food allergen may come in contact with allergens through cross contamination.
