Ingredients in Pedialyte Products

Pedialyte Electrolyte Drink

Pedialyte unflavored drink is made with seven ingredients. Flavored options contain a few more ingredients, as illustrated in the table below.

Drink flavors include cherry frost, coconut, fruit punch, grape, iced berry, mixed fruit, and strawberry.

Flavored pedialyte drinks also contain Natural and Artificial Flavors, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium.

In addition, select flavors include artificial colors. For example, Mixed Fruit is made with Yellow No. 6, Fruit Punch contains Red 40, and Iced Berry contains Blue No 1.

In April 2025, the FDA announced measures to phase out petroleum-based synthetic food dyes, including FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Green No. 3, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Blue No. 1, and FD&C Blue No. 2. Manufacturers have until the end of 2026 to remove the dye (and six other synthetic dyes) from foods and beverages.
