  • Total: 160 calories per serving

An order of 12 Cinnabon Delights has six servings, which equates to a total of approximately 960 calories.

Calories may, of course, vary depending on how the food is processed. If, for example, one batch of Cinnabon Delights receives a heavier dusting of the cinnamon and sugar or a greater proportion of icing is used in a single Delight, then the calories may be slightly higher than reported. The opposite would be true if you receive a dough ball that is smaller than average.

The caloric breakout by nutrient is a rounded estimate based on the nutrition facts label sourced from the restaurant. Calories may vary by location, as a result of how it’s prepared, or due to topping choices.

*Our summary description of diglycerides uses the term surfactant. There are hundreds (ok, probably thousands) of complicated definitions available if you do a quick search online. The explanation I found that is simple and easy to understand is from BAKERpedia.

In the baking industry, surfactants are … emulsifiers that strengthen dough during proofing and baking, stabilizers of cake batters, texture improvers, and shelf-life extenders.

Crepes with Cream Cheese Filling

These Cinnabon Delights remind me a bit of a breakfast (and sometimes lunch) I make for my daughter. It’s an easy-to-make crepe filled with cream cheese frosting and topped with strawberries.

Crepes are easy. Put all the ingredients in a blender. Many recipes call for the batter to rest, but seriously who has time for that? My tip for you is to make sure the pan is hot. Add a pat of butter, then pour in some batter. Not too much. You want to be able to lift the pan and swirl it around so it’s one thin, round layer. Cook about 90 seconds on each side.

Crepe Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Fill one cup with a mix of water and milk
  • 2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • Vanilla

Cream Cheese Filling

The way I make the frosting is simple. Let the cream cheese warm a bit and soften. Add some powdered sugar then stir until combined and smooth. I don’t recall ever measuring the ingredients. If it’s helpful, I would say the ratio is approximately 2 or 3 tablespoons powdered sugar for every 1/4 cup of cream cheese.

You can add vanilla extract if you like a little extra flavor.
