Wendy’s Allergen Menu Guide for Food & Treats

Food items from Wendy's with text listing allergens.

This guide provides you with a list of allergens in Wendy’s Menu. From breakfast sandwiches and hamburgers to the famous Classic Chocolate Frosty, this is your first step in having a quick reference to what’s in the food and drinks served at this popular fast food restaurant.

Before reviewing the allergen menu, let’s understand a bit more about which ingredients are reported as allergens.

Common Food Allergens

Federal regulations have identified nine major food allergens: eggs, fish, milk, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, soybeans, tree nuts, and wheat.

Highly refined oil, even if derived from one of the major food allergen groups, is exempted from federal regulations. Accordingly, highly refined soybean oil is not considered a common allergen.

Be aware that certain foods and drinks may be prepared or cooked using shared equipment. Fried foods, for example, are cooked in common oil. As such, foods made without a declared food allergen may come into contact with allergens through cross-contamination.

Wendy’s Allergen Menu

The following sections include abbreviated Wendy’s menus with food allergen information by menu category. Allergen information is based on menu items served by the fast-food chain at locations in the United States.

The preparation areas in fast food restaurants are generally quite small. As a result, meals are often prepared with shared kitchen equipment and cooking tools. The common handling of menu items may result in cross contact of foods and risk of cross contamination of food allergies.

  • Common toasters are used to prepare food products that contain milk, sesame, soy, and wheat.
  • Kitchen grills are used to cook foods that contain milk and soy.
  • Common oil is used in a shared fryer to cook menu items that contain egg, fish, milk, sesame, soy, and wheat.
